Took me a while to actually get here but September 2014 did find me making my way to Niagara Falls – and yes, to the Canadian side.  I have heard many times that the Canadian side is the place to view the falls and indeed, it is beautiful.  Can I say that viewing the falls from the United States is less beautiful?  Nope, because I didn’t view them from the U.S. side so by all means stop and view them from the U.S. and let me know; maybe I’ll do so myself someday.

Some of these photos were taken with my Sony DSLR but there are others that were taken with my iPhone.  I started out taking with my camera but as we got closer to the falls the spray from the falls was pretty heavy and I didn’t want my camera to get too wet.

You may notice that no where in my post did I mention Maid of the Mist boat tours.  Maid of the Mist tours are now on the United States side only; we used Voyage to the Falls tour line for our outing.
