I’ve referenced the palatial size of this entrance to the Hofburg Imperial Palace by having my mom, all of five feet tall, stand at the entrance. This used to be the imperial palace to the ruling power in Austria. Now it serves multiple functions – a couple being the Sisi Museum and the official seat of the Austrian President. We had little time to take in all that was offered here, so if in Vienna plan a solid chunk of time to investigate the grounds and hallways of this historic site.
